After a week I finally got over my laziness to post this. (Sorry L. 🙂 )
Anyway, last Saturday night L, my high school best bud, went to my place to hangout and, I guess, get drunk? Ha-ha! 😀 Seriously, she went to my place to smoke. Yes, that was the original plan but eventually we can not resist the temptation and fell for our throat’s desire; desire to DRINK! We bought a dozen of bottles of Tanduay Ice and finished up a J. Cuervo which was stuck here in my room for a month or so. I drunk 8 bottles of Tanduay Ice so that would be like an intake of (only) 40% alcohol. Well, I was not in the mood to drink hard stuff so yeah. L drunk J. Cuervo and she was totally wasted! Nyahahaha! 😀
She was an emotional wreck while I was the bewildered Belinda. She cried for an hour or so and kept on talking about cheesy stuff. I, being the bewildered one, just let her be. I thought it was better to let her do the talking to ease her pain. After her outburst of tears and, pardon me for this, almost endless throw-ups she finally went kapush! She fell asleep and she left me alone with a bottle of tequila and 4 more bottles of Tanduay Ice. At that moment, I knew it was all up to me to finish it all. Good thing L’s EX-BF showed-up and he saved the night. Well, not really. That was an overstatement. He did not save the night. He made it worst.(I won’t ponder anymore on this matter.)
At around 3 a.m. my GF called me up and told me to pick her up. So I did but before we went home we bought our post-drinking session meals. We went to Lola Ely’s and ordered to-go (2) hotsilogs, (2) tapsilogs and (2) lechon kawali. After which we finally went back to my place. It was almost 5 in the morning when we arrived, after eating we watched Transformers 1. We started the movie at 6 a.m. and ended it at 8 a.m. Finally, we called it a day and went to sleep. Tee-hee. :))
Happy Day to you brother! ❤
Today’s the 10th of September and was declared a non-working holiday in commemoration of the Eid’l Fitr, the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Beside the fact that we are all on holiday, meaning a no STRESS day, I am also excited because today is my brother Biboy’s birthday. 🙂 We will be celebrating his 19 years of existence tonight at Spiral in Hotel Sofitel.
HAPPY, HAPPY DAY TO YOU MY BROTHER! 🙂 I “HEART” U VERY MUCHA! 😉
Laundromat scene from Ninja Assassin
Shadow fight from Ninja Assassin
I spent my two days of stress-free weekend in my humble abode with my best friend, my best friend’s ex (Its confirmed, EX) and my GF. So here’s the time line:
Saturday mid-noon to afternoon: I watched three films of the same genre and these are the following:
(a) Ninja Assassin – which I found out was an absolute breath-stopper, every scene of the movie made me open my mouth in awe and shock . It also made me squint my eyes to, somehow, avoid seeing gory stuff BUT I failed. I can not simply turn my head away from the screen. RAIN has a FINE body, he is one effing FIIIINNNNEEEE ninja! WHEW! Ninja Assassin served well my craving for some gory shit (without the exaggerated effects).
(b and c) The Godfather 1 and 2 – EPIC. It was already a childhood dream to have my own Godfather DVD collection and I did! Well, my Love did. Ha-ha! She gave me the collection as a birthday gift last year and ever since every time I watch the trilogy I am still fully engrossed with every scene and every actor. Among the three Godfather installments my favorite would be The Godfather II because it did not only narrate how Michael Corleone (Al Pacino) continued and preserved the “family business,” it also showed how the great Vito Corleone (Robert de Niro/Marlon Brando) came to be.
Oh, if I was Kay Adams (Diane Keaton) I will never leave Michael Corleone; just saying! 🙂 We could just use our money and power to protect our family, yeah? We can buy our own island, strictly no trespassing will be implemented and all. Heh 😉
So those are the films I watched before my best friend, her Ex and my Love got together in my place. As for the alchohol and booze session we had, I will just post another one.
See yah! 🙂
- Christmas lights in our office’s 2/F banister (2009)
The “ber” months have started and I can hear Santa’s factory buzzing and humming again, well, metaphorically speaking. When September 1 came I did not bother to count the days and let it sink into me. I just realized that the “ber” months are here and Christmas is just around the corner when I counted the days before my 24th birthday which is on the 21st of September. When it struck me I exclaimed to my Love, “Shit! My birthday’s coming so fast! And after this October then November then December!” Then I groaned, why? Because traffic here in Manila will be worst than worst. As if the traffic in an ordinary day is not enough to torture our physical and mental health. I guess it is part of growing up that you come to a point in your life when you just feel blah when Christmas arrives. You lose interest in Christmas. You lose that exciting feeling of buying gifts and reuniting with your long-lost relatives and friends. You somehow become the Grinch.

But then again I, I mean we, should look at the brighter side of things. I know this is a cliché but believe me it works! There are countless reasons why we should be happy when Christmas comes like: (a) The yummy foods that our relatives prepare and work hard for (luckily I have a family of good cooks, ha-ha!) (b) the Christmas bonus that our company gives (c) the unexpected and expected gifts we get for Christmas (d) the drunk /fucked-up moments because of the overflowing of booze and (e) you have the excuse to be all crazily sweet (but not that sweet) with your Love. Well, these basically summarize my reasons why we all should look forward to for Christmas. Maybe for you and for everybody else there are a lot more reasons and different reasons. Nevertheless, whatever your reasons are we should avoid the “Grinch mood.” So with all due respect let us all welcome, CHRISTMAS! 🙂
